Neighborhood Clean Up 10/16/21
We partnered with members of Star Hill Church to clean up Gus Young Ave. We walked from 48th to Gus Young park and picked up trash along both sides of the street. Thanks to Star Hill and the officers from BRPD for keeping us safe while we worked!
Neighborhood Clean Up 4/9/22
We were a volunteer site for LSU's Geaux Big Baton Rouge Day. GEEP and Star Hill coordinated to have LSU student volunteers clean up our neighborhood! Special thanks to Councilman Lamont Cole, the Mayor's Office, and BRPD for making this event a success!
Prayer Service 8/27/22
Beautification Dedication 10/8/22
We planted shrubbery in front of the old police substation on Gus Young as part of our beautification initiative through the Resident Leader Academy! We had members of the community come out to fellowship with us as we planted. Members of our group spoke as well as Councilman Lamont Cole to dedicate these plants. We hope this will improve the sight of our community and inspire others to keep the it clean!

Community Emergency Response Team Training 5/11/24
As part of GEEP’s ongoing mission to create an informed neighborhood, we partnered with Volunteer Louisiana to present a disaster preparedness training in our community. The training was held May 11 at the MLK Center.
